I demonstrate 5 different kinds of figure eight bo staff spinning techniques. I know there are many tutorials but I haven't seen one person do all of them slowly.

  • I just wish you wore a GI, it would have felt/looked better. Good video just would have looked better with a uniform. I know, I know it doesn't change the fact that you were showing how to spin the bo. I'm just saying it would enhance it more...try it next time. We are a visual crature and I think a lot of people watching this would get a better feel.

  • @Durkie52 I finally joined a Hapkido do jang and will wear some of that gear next time, thanks I think you are right.

  • which one is the easiest!?

  • @hodenbacke55555 I would say the second hand to hand one where you let it go an extra half turn because you have more time between hand changes

  • @hodenbacke55555 excellent! well, take a look at some of my other tutorials and see if you can learn a few more, otherwise, practice on your own and show ME some new ones, haha!

  • @bboylophty the video will* be up soon ... but when it is can you give it a check please .... the speed of spinning is moderate i think for only 2days for spinning and btw the staff is hand made ( by me and another meber of my family) and all of the spinning is self taught

  • eteune can you help me i can do this and pass it behind me while its spinning then spin it around my neck then back to this and i can do it at a fairly fast speed and i have onlly been spinning a staff for 2days now .... i have a video of it on my youtube can you check it out and see what you think i should learn next tanks for your time :)

  • You are right, I have found several interesting videos and they all look great but when it comes to speed it up they do not describe the breakdown, thanks a lot and please keep them coming!!!!!!!!!

  • @Draggonnfly Always practice slowly first, then try to speed up. Can you do it slowly?
