    tangerine=橘(ju)/桔(ju)

    mandarin=柑(gan)

  • @xvzw if your using pinyin to type then you type ju zi 桔子 jie zi gives you this as first option戒子 I can't get 桔子 by typing jiezi

  • @xvzw see nciku or chinespod glossary for multiple examples - it's definitely ju2 zi . 桔 is sometimes pronounces jie2 also xie2, but not when talking about oranges.
