my friend owns a house he bought it for 50 grand he put 10 down on it two years ago but now he is near poor health stuck up in cold michigan and he cannot sell his house. He is in poverty level now. He wants to move to were there is better medical care and warmer. What should he do? This house is preventing him from moving to better medical care! How should he get out of this house for his health? into a better living situation?

My bank will not even talk to me. If you are making your payments, they don't care and will not work with you. The bank says I signed a contract and that is all they responded with. My home is worth about 1/3 of what the appraisal and contract dated 2006 states.

Look, if you want to get out of your house and into another one you'll need to do it quickly. The foreclosure won't show on your credit report until a few months. So, once you're in your new house just let the other one go. Stop paying on it.

I was told that a short sale is a foolish way to go because it still stands as a hit on your credit report as like a foreclosure. If this is the case, people might as well stay in the house for the year and save. Could be a housing myth? I say why live for credit. There are people who don't want credit cards and this effect them. Forced slavery to the system of debt.
