As for armour. Both Frankish knights and Muslim heavy cavalry wore riveted chainmail. So there wasnt that much difference in armour. But it true, frankish chainmail was known for its high quality, just like damascus swords were known for their high quality

That goes against everything that I have read on the crusades (the 3rd crusades with King Richard Lionheart). Frankish cavalry was so superior that the Arabs would completely avoid assaulting Frankish forces. Instead, they used hit and run tactics or would try and kill the horses during night time raids in order to nullify the Frankish edge in cavalry. From what I gather, the Arabs could not withstand or meet head on a cavalry assault from the Franks.

Also, the Arabs didn't have heavy cavalry as the Franks understood it. Arab cavalry was "light" by Frankish standards. And this cavalry relied on arrows to get the job done. That's how the arabs won the battle of Hattin. They completely flooded the Europeans with arrows. Saladin had many camels loaded with a crazy supply of arrows. The Arabs did not want to meet the Knights and Frankish forces head on.

My friend, I think you arte confusing Arab cavalry with turkoman(turkish) cavalry. The franks knew both as Saracens. The turks who formed a very big portion of Saladin army used the hit and run teqnique. The Arabs on the otherhand used teqniqes such as charging with the lance. The Arabs were never horse archers. You should read Usama bin Munqidh's memoirs. He gives a good example on how the Arabs fought.

Asides from the Arabs who fought hand to hand, there were also the Ghulams who were heavily armoured and fought with lance, sword, and mace. But ofcourse the turkomans formed the majourity of the cavalry. My argument here is about Arab cavalry not the turkomans

I am speaking here of the crusades. More specifically, the battle of Hattin. There the Templars, forces of the Kingdom of Jerusalem and Frankish forces were defeated by a Saracen army that used arrows extensively. Also, Saladin ruled Syria and Egypt. I'm not saying that there were not Turks in his army but the majority of it was formed by Muslims in Syria, Egypt and North Africa.

What year are we talking about exactly? I'm talking about Saracen cavalry at the turn of the century, 1000AD to about 1100AD.

Arab cavalry fought in the same way from the 7th century all the way to 15th century

First of all I wasnt talking about Frankish horses, which were quite big. I was talking about scandinavian horses which were known to be small. Secondly, three to four times bigger?? are you kidding me? thats an elephant not a horse. Yes the Arabian horse was and still is a light horse. But it is not skinny. The Arabian horse is known to have high bone density which makes it able to carry armoured men. And the speed and endurance of the Arabian horse far exceeds that of a frankish horse
