This was a stupid song I wrote today while waiting for something to happen

Is sort of like grasping at lightning bugs

Now you've burned great big holes in my map
Then you lean on your cloud and you laugh
We could sail over mushroom seas, through dragon caverns and fantasies
But first there's the simple task of placing your hand in mine
Waiting for you and your falling star
Is like drowning in wine from a desert pool
The gears in my spine start to spin out of time
And wash all my logic away
So I'll stand and be patient all day
