Its a 5speed 2.0. This car does not have to have the clutch pressed to start it.

With the 270 cam did you get a check engine light? Sounds mean.

Not for the first 3 months, but as soon as it got cold out, my CEL came on for "intake air temp resistance too high". I was thinking it was just the change in weather, but, to this day it's still on for that code. I plan on ordering a chip to compliment the cam very soon.

are u running stock cams?

No. I'm running an Autotech 270 cam with the upgraded dual valve springs needed on OBD2 vw's running a cam higher than 260.
