Just so you know, while Beavertails are available in many places (not all over) the pastry is actually a treat from Ottawa, where the original shack is still in use in the ByWard Market.

hah, theres a place that sells that fried dough shit here at teh saturday market, they got about 200 jars of toppings from mouseturd and catshit to jams and chutneys
