This video shows how to make the most common adhesive for pasting canister shells. It can also be used for ball shells.

The actual pasting process can be learned here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6p-0SHqXbk

  • Hello!

My father in low worked in a firework factory for a long time.

I would like to "share" some ideas about that with you.

Could you send me your email or something like that?

    I'm from Brazil.

    Sorry about Englsh mistakes.

    Thanks!

  • @CasagrandeTiago Sure, you can reach me at ben@grassrootsdiy(dot)com.

  • Hey does the wheat paste still work after a day when its cool ?

  • @EGGtart12 It will work for one or two days if you keep it refrigerated. You can't store it much longer though or it will start to stink.

I've heard that if you microwave it for 30 seconds twice a week, and store it in the fridge, you can ceep it for much more than that...

But when it's so cheap and easy to make, why make so much more than you need that you consider to store it in the first place? Make it as you need it.. =P

  • so you basically made a very very watery and un-browned milkless pancake

  • hmm wonder how long it took for him to jack off

  • Thumbs up if you are using this for graffiti help.

  • ha fuck that krylon ad put a barrier against graffiti krylon has gone to shits

  • You can use a kitchen blender to mix the flour into the cold water to make a smooth batter for cooking (no lumps). If you add a teaspoon of sodium salycilate (for making whistles) after the cooked paste cools, it will last forever in a closed container without refrigeration. I once stored a mayonaise glass jar full of paste (lid screwed on tigth) with this preservative in it for a year and it was still fresh when I opened the jar. It won't spoil.

  • Thanks

  • @Katzleo15 yeah it does. but it takes like 3 hours to completely harden over the poster

  • @Katzleo15 yeah i use it
