Has Newt Gingrich gone to the "dark side?" Well, you have to wonder, when he attacks both the endorsement by Sarah Palin of Doug Hoffman. Not only does he attack the candidate from the Conservative Party for a U.S. House seat election in upstate New York, he attacks Sarah Palin's endorsement, saying it will lead to the end of the GOP for generations to come.
I don't think Newt gets it. In fact, I don't think Newt ever got it. The base of the Republican Party was always the Conservatives (both fiscal and social). It was obvious from the results of the elections in 2006 and 2008 that the "moderates" in the Republican Party might as well have been Democrats. They were called "RINOs" - Republicans in name only - and it lost the last two elections for the GOP.

It is not a perceived misquote. You did not use the proper quotation. You paraphrased what Jefferson said yet still put it in quotation marks as if you were using the correct quote. Any English teacher from 6th grade on would mark that one wrong. I am not the one trying to save face here since I am not the one who got the quote wrong. As for attributing it to Madison, I have said that you may not have meant it to be so, but poor writing on your part made it seem so. And I saw "Good Will Hunting"
I have said time and again that in the original post, what you wrote makes it seem as if you are attributing the quote to Madison. I have said that it seems you didn't do so intentionally. But that doesn't change the fact that your poor writing reads as if you are attributing the quote to Madison. I am not lying about anything (I'm starting to wonder if you know what the word means). I'm simply pointing out your mistake.
No, it is your fault that you are a lousy writer who doesn't understand the rules of grammar and constructive English. You wrote it so poorly that it appears you are attributing the quote (which you got wrong) to Madison. If you are to narcissistic to realize that you made a mistake, then that is your problem. The fact that you aren't saying that I am wrong but are accusing me of lying shows how moronic you are.
Not obsessed, just correct. And, again, I have not lied about anything. I don't think you quite understand the concept of lying or you wouldn't be using it here.
Narcissistic and ignorant. Winning personality combination there.
Actually, I have quite a full life, but I still can respond to your idiotic rantings. You did it: the proof is in the post above. The question is whether you intentionally attributed the (mis)quote to Madison or just did a poor job of writing that makes it seem that you did. Sadly, you are too stupid to grasp that fact. You can either claim to attributing to Madison or claim to writing it so it seemed that way. You can not claim that I am lying about it because your own post finds you guilty.

Once again, I NEVER EVER attributed that quote to Madison. Ever.
You can keep thinking it if you want but you are just a liar.
Nice personality combination.
Narcissistic and ignorant. Winning personality combination there.
You must have very little to do.
I never did what you are saying and so therefore, you are a liar.
See how that works?
