See, I remember that day when I met Jesus for the first time
I went to church, my mom told me, It wont be a waste of time
And I didn't want to, honestly, it was awkward for me
To see people jumping around and praying so crazily
But then half way through this service, as I was sitting down
A brother that I met for the first time smiled and looked around
Asking if he could come and sit next to me
And without an answer I nodded my head hesitantly
Later on in the service, the brother just said to me
May I pray for you
And I said go ahead, you can give it a try
And from the very first word I started to cry
The holy spirit totally took a hold of me
When he said these words while he was praying
I don't quite remember word for word
But this is what I remember, this is what I heard

There I found it, my purpose in life
It was to serve the Lord and live Chris-like
And I was so convicted as the tears rolled my eyes
My whole body felt hot and warm, I didn't quite know why
So I started to go to church week by week
