This is a left-leaning decrease sometimes used in knitting. It is usually called the "pass slipped stitch over" decrease (psso), or the k1, sl1, psso (knit one, slip one, pass slipped stitch over). Shown in the English style.
Thank you for the simple yet clear tutorial. It's similar to "binding off" when you bring one loop over the other. My unstructor used to call it "leap frog". I did not know that psso was until this video. TY!!!
