Typical issues and Questions (not atheist) regarding the downfalls of "organized religion" http://orgod.org Why does Wild Bill feel that he does not have to prove HOLINESS? Is being HOLY so apparent to others? Or is life a path of spirituality of "works"? Is there anything wrong with "works" as opposed to "faith"? Not that Wild Bill was making that argument..

  • @HeroOfChristArchives That is a direct correlation to the blind leading the blind sure. But on the following Christ, I need to do a video about that. Thanks for the reminder and inspiration.

  • @kyyboa asked: "What or who are they following?"

Followers are following fallible followers, the blind leading the blind.

@kyyboa asked: "What about the ones who keep quoting Paul?"

If Paul told the truth, then they quote truth. But if Paul lied, then they quote lies. One must use discretion when quoting any professed follower of Christ.

We are directed to follow the Christ (Matthew 4:19, 19:21; Mark 1:17, 10:21; Luke 9:59, 18:22; John 1:43) not the professed followers of the Christ.

  • @HeroOfChristArchives Yes that is a major distinction. But what or who are they following? A distorted doctrine? And what about the ones who keep quoting Paul? How much does that distract from the Christ?

  • all one.

  • One must master the spirit, this is within, not from anybody else.

  • @HeroOfChristArchives This is very true. There are a lot of false preachers out there. I can name a few IMO benny hinn, billy graham, joel osteen. Check them out if you must, but BEWARE!

  • @MysterEy1christ

Christianity is about following the Christ, not his followers. This is important, as many who profess to follow the Christ aren't really following him.

  • What Kind of Christianity Is This?

Though founded by a pacifist, Christianity has justified some of the most brutal slaughters in human history, from the wars of the late Roman Empire to the Crusades to the Inquisition to world wars to genocides against “heathens,” Muslims and Jews. Yet, Gary G. Kohls says the essence of Christianity can still be reclaimed.
