Wow, let's play spot the influences; lemme see, Rod Stewart & The Faces, Mick Jagger, 70s glam rock, southern rock... what the hell, it cooks! Gotta love the Crowes, man!

Holy cow, I just came back to this thread after 4 months to watch the vid again only to find myself in the middle of a wild rant about white / black blah blah blah.... so what do I have to do? Apologise for being a dumb-ass white boy who digs good music? My respect for black musicians can be found in the fact they probably make up about 70% of my music collection: southern soul, R&B, funk, blues... I couldn't give a shit about the colour of your skin, if you can groove then you're fine by me.

Am I the only person that's ever compared him to Peter Wolf?

Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Eddie Van Halen, Richie Blackmore, and many others, all made significant contributions themselves. While they were influenced by other artists you can't completely disregard their contributions. Example, Robert Johnsons verion of crossroads has been rerecorded many times but each time has a new element with each artist.

Not since The Rolling Stones has the music world seen a band that thrives on sex, drugs, and rock & roll. The Black Crows and Queens Of The Stone Age are the two bands that keep the "lifestyle" alive.
