The Band of Brothers Pipes and Drums play a rendition of "The Rakes of Mallow" in a friends backyard after the final South Side St. Patrick's Day Parade here in Chicago. Sadly the organizing committee decided the parade grew too large for the community. An estimated 350,000 people attended the 2009 South Side St. Patrick's Day Parade, not to mention the thousands upon thousands who were celebrating in their own front and backyards in this part of Chicago called West Beverly.
She'd appreciate that dan. She's no Riverdancer but she's got spirit--not to mention spirits for inspiration-hehe. This was only a block from where the parade took place.
