  • Read the sentence or Ayath No.(33:50) in the Holy Quran carefully. It could be related to the marriages with the first cousin.

  • It's not marriage that causes it, it is procreation. People that get married don't necessarily have kids...

  • In the near future I would expect more states to make it illegal but, eventually the facts will become known and the trend will reverse. There is no evidence to support the notion that generations of cousin marriage in itself results in genetic problems. The evidence indicates quite the opposite. One must challenge any statements about the dangers of cousins marrying and make people aware of the facts. That way the next generation may give up the myth.

    There is evidence that generations of cousin marriage causes many risks for children. The articles in the video description box proves it.

    And the opinion of an anthropologist is not relevant when we are discussing biology. I also answer that question in a cousin marriage video

(Average, meaning, not apart of communities that customarily practice cousin marriage marriage for generations. According to the ABC 20/20 report "When Cousins Marry," 200,000 cousins wed each year in the U.S.
