I have a two replicas of that Dancing Faun - regular size and a 10 inch tall.

That is one big house! U.S. realtors define a mansion as a dwelling of over 8000 square feet (740 m2) but that is a measurement by today's standards. 3,000 SF back before Christ was born was HUGE.
Did they include all of that outdoor space in their calculations?

we're studying pompeii in my latin class...i think it is the coolest thing ever that the city is preserved like this!!

It's a copy. The original mosaic was lifted long ago and is now in the Archaeological Museum at Naples, displayed on a wall.
