The San Francisco Seals were a minor league baseball team in San Francisco, California that played in the Pacific Coast League from 1903 until 1957 before transferring to Phoenix, Arizona. They were named for the abundant California Sea Lion and Harbor Seal populations in the Bay area.
Beautiful- people sometimes forget the Seals' 55 years in the Pacific Coast League- Seals Stadium was a nice little 18000 seat park- Candlestick was a mess from the start, but I saw my first game there in 1965, so it's always special to me- AT&T Park, along with PNC Park in Pittsburgh, may be the two most attractive parks around...

Good doc. I used sit in the bleachers. Cost me 9 cents. My father and I used to go all the time. We lived within walking distance of Seals Stadium. It was a beautiful stadium. The Seals were an exciting team. Saw Satchel Paige pitch and many others.

Makes me so sad...I remember Candlestick Park, and watching the history was bittersweet...such great acoustic playing...(p.s. just tune the guitar a bit first!) It was so sweet, you don't want to detract from that!
