@SuperMathewson That's not nice. There was no need to bring up our state's history, we know it. Doesn't mean we deserve a "fuck you" because of what people back in the day thought was "right."

What you should say instead is fuck Georgia, because we should have been playing for the title, but oh well. Maybe this year!

@coolguyinthe562 Not in the southeast. If you say USC most people think University of South Carolina. And when they refer to Southern California they will say Southern Cal. It really depends on where you are though, because obvious people out west will automatically think Southern Cal when you say USC.

@HailDaFins I agree that it's trivial. The bad thing for you guys is that I know you also have to deal with UNC when it comes to "who is the real Carolina" when both of you can make that claim ;-)

Well I appreciate the compliment of us, Carolina, being the real SEC East champs.

At the end of the day, all of this "who is the real USC stuff is trivial." We are both USC. Unfortunately I have had to listen for years that the USC trojans are the REAL USC. At the end of the day we are the University of South Carolina, and we hold just as much stake to it.

@HailDaFins Yes and we'd be fine playing in the SEC on a regular basis regardless of who we play in the conference. Because the SEC doesn't play a round-robin schedule like the Pac-10 used to, we could have a schedule as tough as LSU or Alabama's schedule this year, or a schedule as weak as Georgia's.

For the record S. Carolina is the real SEC East champs to me because of the head to head win you had over Georgia and you guys had a tougher conference schedule over Georgia
