Our hot water system is unique and can occasionally be a problem for a few users. but it does have it's benefits, being completely independant of any other system, there is never a risk of the temperature changing to freezing or scalding as is the case of some systems where someone is using the water in an adjacent room and it nevers runs out of hot water , as it is heated as it is being run.
We are a little disappointed to read that you were not happy with your stay. Our minders were looking after our motel for a week and unfortunately , during the hand over briefing, which gets interrupted with guests checking in etc, we completely forgot to tell them about the late checkout, entirely our fault and since there was no information printed on the vouchers etc, they had no idea. Apart from the cooking and the no smoking sign, any other sign or label is meant to be informative ..cont...
Stayed as part of a 2011 Grab a Deal package and yes I agree spotless etc BUT the current managers are the sort of people who give hospitality industry bad name in NZ. Deal incl a 12pm checkout which they were oblivious to & were extremely rude & overbearing about. The notice in the clip about not cooking smelly food is just one of MANY pedantic little signs throughout the unit. The shwr for eg is a complete joke. Its an outdated late 70's system which is total shite. Dont dare complain tho!!!

We stayed there on New Years Day in 2008 and it was excellent, could not be better.
