Actually the alternative is no ETS. The fact is we are not the highest emitter per capita. This is simply another lie being propagated through media that nobody bothers to check. Another example of leftie lies and propaganda!

We have good reason to be high emitters because of the large distances and sparce population, there needs to be some accounting for this before you put your industry in dire risk. All reasons why an ETS is so backward.

I did not expect such a good response to this video.

I do not think now is the time to sit still, even if a grass roots change was successful in shifting an Australian political party during the week. The power of a grass-roots response despite Mainstream Media not giving a balanced picture was especially encouraging.

Imagine Brisbane's new Gateway Bridge, ready to be opened by Julia Gillard. It's been polished, painted and scrubbed by an army of workers till its 1 kilometre length is surgically clean. Except that Julia Gillard says we have a huge problem, the bridge is polluted - there's a human hair on the roadway. We'd laugh ourselves silly.

There are plenty of real pollution problems to worry about.

your video and the comments posted hear prove to me we have no future. Man made climate change is real. The evidence for it has being in since the late 90's. For the sake of avoiding short term pain for long term gain. You are choosing give me convenience or give me death. Tony Abbot will probably win the next election because he will make sure nothing is done about climate change. Come sea level rises there will be many surprises because ignorance and denial is the norm.

Power companys and others in food basiclly all cosumables have brought prices up a month ago and now will be again because ETS is in afect now so more price rises. I like the video but You have to remember

where half of what you mentioned such as food prices and fuel all have gone up sinse THE GREAT NEW BIG TAX the GST.

They raised the numbers of people coming into the country while they cut housing/ roads by half and hospitals forcing the states to pick up the tab.

ETS or not i will not vote for the people who created the mess this country is in.
