I am in tears as I write. This piece is some of the finest music I've ever heard. I heard it a few times some 25 or 30 years ago and have searched for it ever since. It was truely the holy grail of my internet searches. The memories of love it brings are beyond price and the words I need to show you my deep appreciation are beyond me. I simply cannot thank you enough for uploading this extraordinary, beautiful work.

I first heard this 30+ years ago when I was in high school and have wondered about it ever since. I believe this is actually written by Herb Alpert. Love, love, love this song.

@gva0917 Glad you enjoyed this, Gayle! We have a radio station near Phoenix that plays this genre, but a while back, none of Perry's beautiful work like this was posted here. Yesterday I found a few, made some comments & one guy has posted 4 more by Perry today ! ! ! Botkin's father, born 1907, was a master on the guitar even before Les Paul and the others & wrote all the original Beverlry Hillbillies music, including Elly May's Theme, the music you'd hear when she'd appear in a beautiful gown!
