when al spoke i jumped out bed, with tears in my eyes and i clapped and said AMEN
usher killed me once he touched the casket i was done i thought i couldn't cry harder until paris came up and then i was truly a MESS

yea i watched the memorial along with taping it 4 my mom......it was indeed very emotional and heartfelt. the main performances the had me all jacked up was when usher got up there n broke down. he did his thing. and when jermaine sung the 'smile' song.....i never listened to the song b4 but it was very somber. and of course when jennifer hudson did 'will you be there' it was very powerful in her own rite....go on girl. i bet Michael was pleased with this memorial: MJ 1958-2009.

I was good until Brooke Shields got up there. At first I didn't know who she was, but I knew she had to have meant something to him. Then Usher had me messed up. Jermaine did a beautiful job and yes I cried w/him also. To top it off, Marlon had to start crying and I thought I was to threw, then low and behold beautiful Ms. Paris (w/her sweet self) came up there and said what she said and I was crying like he was my daddy. I still can't believe he's gone. LONG LIVE THE KING!!!!!!!!!!!
