Just testing out my new Flip recorder. I'm a guitarist , not a bass player. Looks like the A strings a little loud and the G string is a little buzzy. I always loved the way Jack plays. And his tone. That's an early 80's Kramer bass going thew a late 67 Fender Bassman Head, pushing an old 15 inch JBL D140 in a Yorkville Sound PA cabinet(For gear heads only).

The whole fret thing is about the main part. But now that I think about it, he might have added his own variations.

Depends, he's playing the 4th and 5th fret, did you see the 9th and 10th fret as well? If so, they both work. It's easier rsthompsons way.
