This ignores 1 Cor 10, John 17, Matt 23, and 1 Cor 14, among others.
I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. (1 Co 1:10 ESV).
Sinful people will polarize rather than submit to the Word of God & diligently work towards the unity Christ desires for His Bride. Institutional Church & its clergy cultivate this sinfulness for their livelihood.

@btimes33 lol ok i was a bit hard :( I was interested but not anymore! know alredy what i should know about God

@Musashi850 if thats all you have to say, why did you watch this video? either, you're secretly interested in God, or you're simply filled with hate and feel like you need to come here and spread your hate. I'm not sure which one.

@prairiemark I see what your saying, but to the contrary. If everyone was TRULY sola scriptura then they would allow the Bible to interpret itself therefore allowing the Holy Ghost to minister unto everyone of us, but with "church" and people following mans interpretation of the Bible (i.e John Calvin) the Bible then becomes privately interpreted.
-
@TheKJVberean The belief in Sola Scriptura results in so many sects, sub-sects and cults. If a person on his own with no appeal to church authority, church history, church tradition can read the Bible and make his own theology as it suits him you will have many contradictory doctrines. Sola Scriptura usualy results in private interpretations and each person claims his view is from God.

Why are there different denominations? simply because there is different levels of idiots beliving in a sky daddy

The problem is, is no one takes the bible at face value anymore - many denominations think much of the bible needs to be interpreted a certain way. Or they just take certain scripture out of context. All throughout the bible it teaches of the same faith. Piper is calvinist so i wouldnt expect him to know anything about that.

One faith,one God...

On the last videos the sound is too low :(
Bethlehem Baptist Church is not a rich, suburban church. It's IN the inner city. It's not a large megachurch. It's actually smaller than most churches. We don't put money into making the church grander but into reaching out to others. The church DOES give to other churches and the community. We spend modestly and give extravagantly.
How could you type such a snide post of accusation without knowing anything about the church? You should examine your attitude before challenging a pastor.

Bethlehem is in one of the rougher parts of Minneapolis, right downtown, a mere 5 minute walk from the Metrodome.
And if you've ever listened to anything Piper has said, you would know that he is all about living on what you need and giving away the rest. Please, next time, do your homework.
