From the DVD: "Dan Freed and Bob Nebel's Greatest Movie Hits 1979-1985"

Indeed I was interested in news at a young age. My heroes at that time were Judd Hambrick, Jeff Maynor, Ted Henry and Dave Patterson. Who knew that we would be featured on WJW's "P.M. Magazine" less than one year from when this was shot. Even more ironic, I went on to intern at WJW eight years after this movie was made. Today, I work in TV news.

This is my first Super 8mm Sound film. I bought a Bell and Howell Soundstar camera from Best Products a few weeks before we shot. As anyone can tell, no one was operating the camera on the two-shot. That was accomplished with the run-lock function.

That is the "character's name" which is Don Freed in this film. His real name is Dan Freed. Dan went on to become an artist.
