Hi Teresa, I think I have the same kiln as you do. L&L e28t. I bought it 2nd hand and the lid assembly is missing the spring. So tell me, what is the scoop with your lid rig?

Excellent video. A creative way to demonstrate how you fill the kiln for a bisque load. Dogwood thinks you are the greatest.

Very cool, and fun to watch too! ;-D

Enjoy! You can cram a lot into a bisque load... Just be sure it is packed tight enough so things don't shift to much as they shrink during firing.

Bisque fire to cone 08 and glaze to cone 5. The bisque is lower than many people do but, it works well for me. I've never had pin hole problems or anything like that so, I have no need to spend the x-tra time or energy to 06.

LOL Soooo, that's what you do when we aren't in your studio!!!! I swear that was my covered jar in the lower right on the bottom shelf, hehe. I best be picking a glaze for it :) What fun to watch, and great music :o)

Hummm, my husband always does the dishes, I thought he was just being nice...
Give it a try sometime! Works great with all those odd shaped items which usually just take up a lot of space.
