John Paul Ballantine was married to UTV's Pamela Ballantine at the time; he's now married to another UTV presenter, Tina Campbell, these days. John Rosborough is now in charge of UTV's own radio station, U105, these days.

Wow. Today I found THE most amazing and nostalgic video clip EVER on YouTube.
I grew up with Downtown Radio, and I idolised Big T and John Paul, used to record loads of their shows mainly for the DJ chatter and jingles rather than for the records.
Met John Paul many times at 'Downtown Radio Roadshow's. Incredibly nostalgic to see the only existing video of him. Big downside though - the wonderful Stereo FM of Downtown was replaced with crap Mono Medium Wave that same day. :-(

I actually have another video of Jippo along with Linda Jayne that was made for a media training programme and presented by Jacqui Berkley in 1990. Must post it online soon.
