No, TMaeMe, I'm not selling Johnny's shower!! But looking at the comments (I've only just joined Youtube!) I should try and make some more. I could make them quite cheaply, the pump would be the main cost. Or maybe I could make my first video - 'How to build a bird shower'??

Oh wow what a cool idea! You are so creative! I bought a ball fountain for my budgies but they dont really entertain it much and one of my budgies Charlie is a stinky boy and doesnt like baths only the tap.... I'm off to convert my fountain into a shower like Johnny's!

he cute!
What fabulous budgie owners you are. Johnny looks SO loved and adored. He's just the cutest thing - thanks for sharing these videos. Our family are thinking about getting a pet budgie and I'm using your videos to persuade my hubby LOL. He saw a few of your Johhny videos and is now saying things he'd like to teach 'our budgie' to do (thank you lol)

Thanks for the lovely comment. The breeding season is approaching so contact a local breeder and put your name down for a hand tame chick. That way you can start having fun together a lot qucker!

how do you train your bird to do that? i got mine from pet store and they are mean but i love to watch them play in their cage. or if you buy them when they are young are they easy to train? i love watching your videos

He was straight in there to investigate - he didn't need to be taught! I would always recommend that you get a young bird from a breeder, not a shop. That said, check out gumleboy's progress with Rocky, an adopted older bird who had never been out of his cage. With time and kindness you can tame them. If you keep more than one together they will prefer to bond with each other. However if you DO have just one they need lots of human company to be happy.

That's so sad. Although you can never really replace him, maybe a new one will help you to cope?
