I think there is still much needed research that needs to be done before we can really make a true decision on what is real and what is not. So far what we know is that yes the bible as we know it now has been tampered with and that some books have been thrown out. As for the codex, it is still incomplete. We all got here and was not because of science. God gave us life. The great debate is who is god really? I just want to be on the right side of the fence when its all said and done.

God did not give you life. It was science. Why worship a god who has, in your own words, given you an incomplete handbook?

The great debate has never been who god is, but if "he" exists, and as the times develop and we gain more knowledge, theists are fighting a losing battle.

Actually it's not a lie. Bart Ehrman mentions it in his book "Misquoting Jesus". You can research it more if you wish.

0:58 it states "So then after the Lord had spoken unto them. he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God".. Then one second later at 0:59 the videos maker says that "there was no ascending to heaven..." Wow, guy needs to learn2Jesushate with more skill. All codexes of the New Testament are essentially the same with the exception of a few verses, Mark's ending being one of them. Luke wrote the Acts of the Apostles and he declared in chapter 1 that Christ Ascended into heaven. The shepherd of Hermas was part of some early church readings, but it was not apostolic, hence not included in the canon.

Evangelicals need to back off from this uncompromising position of absolute literalism, it's divisive to the body.

@fsheppard1 I have serious doubts you was ever an atheist. I'm gonna guess and say the closest you ever thought you were to being an atheist was really just being a poor christian. In other words, you never really said to yourself that "no god exists" but perhaps just wasn't a practicing Christian. Did I get it right? Also, telling atheists you have evidence for your god and then using your bible as evidence doesn't work well from their perspective. Got any other evidence? Btw, ex-xian here.

Well as we all know this is a copy from the Hebrew text.  Oh you say the Hebrew text NT never existed. Thats funny old theologians at that time say Matthew penned his book in his native language which was....you guessed it Hebrew. If you read of all what the Catholic church did they burned and destroyed all scrolls they could find from the Jewish scribes and Nazarene sects. Makes us wonder what really was there. I believe that Yah has put His hand forward to allow the truth to be lived.

guess what there is evidence. god foretold about you atheist and foretold about the future,which is happening now.

God have proved his existence by giving you prophesies true ones not false ones.

he says if you just believe he will prove it.

@fearlesstat @fearlesstat God says in his last revelation,the holy Quran,that "they"(christians) make up a book(bible) with their own hand and then tell that what's in it are my words?".God warns you christians that you will NEVER enter paradise being a christian.He says that He does not accept any man made religions.He only accepts the way of life He gave us.That is Islam.If you really want to enter paradise there is no other way that leads to it than Islam.

Jesus administered electric shocks, forced beatings and insomnia to his followers, during which he injected them with sodium pentathol while conditioning them with behaviour modification techniques developed by skinner and watson.....or wait.....that was the atheist soviet union.
