I am making a step by step tutorial for Native Instruments' Reaktor 5. In this video series I will build a virtual analog synth with two oscillators, ADSR-envelope, filter, filter envelope, 2 LFOs, modulation envelope and maybe other fine features...it's still in the making. ;) Remember: I'm a Reaktor-Noob too, so if you find any mistakes, please let me know. Thanks for your interest and have fun with this great creative program. And sorry for my bad english ;)

  • I have an M-Audio Axiom 49 midi controller. How to do i set this up to control reaktor 5?

  • I have the M-Audio 88pro and I configure the controllers with "Midi learn". Right click on the knob or fader or whatever, select midi-learn, move the controller you want to use and thats it.

  • Hey, thnx a bunch for the tutorial. It would be helpfull though, if you'd put the text and the movie on the same screen. Now I'm doing what the text says, and then waiting through a movie of you doing it afterwards :P

  • Yes, I wanted to make the video in the way you describe. It's really annoying with those title screens. But I had no idea how to insert subtitles with Windows Movie Maker. Maybe I just have to take a closer look. I will try to manage it in the next tutorial series.

  • learn how to talk , sound helps sound design

  • thx, but it would be a lot more useful learning how to use an audio app if there was audio included with these tutorials

  • Hi i'm running 5.6.1 and the only problem i'm running into here is that the actual knobs won't separate from each other on the panel and I can't find a lock/unlock option anywhere. Can anybody help me? Please message me.

  • Reaktor opens completely empty so how can I delete an instrument? Makes no sense to me

  • I dont have the option to "lock panel" as suggested at 6:25

  • NI plugs = Native Instruments plugins. Native Instruments make Reaktor (commonly used as a plugin within other host software, such as Cubase) as seen in this video, as well as Guitar Rig, Kontakt, B4, FM8, Massive, and others. :)

  • @henrebotha what are NI plugs?

  • what's more worthless than a tutorial on sound design, and not have sound?

  • @Binosisus u can do that in youtube

  • @BioQuarkz You can steal ideas without 'removing the original'. Piracy is stealing.

  • Can you save the synth an use it independently from reaktor?
