World A Soldiers Tribute

I was a solider a long time ago. Not a combat troop but a mechanic, for three years I spent time in the third world building roads and schools. I know the side of our men and women that serve the media never shows you. I know their fears, I know their inner person and I know they seldom walk past a child with out pausing to get down on one knee and reach out to them.

What kind of world do you want? I want you to see this world, young men and women are doing this every day. Remember them in your thoughts and prayers and never pass a solider with out saying thank you. You really don't know how important it really is and how much it means.

@myusernameisluc - The solider is like a gun, sometimes used for good and sometimes for bad. In the end the solider does his duty and you can support him even when you don't want him sent to where he has to go. Further it is the good in a solider that keeps the powers that be for total control. They may send him to do their bidding but the young men and women in uniform are the ones that keep a lid on things overall. If you just hate the military as it sounds like you do, I can't help you.

You are using a lot of vague languange here, which I can't comment on. I am not English, so I don't understand the majority of sayings and phrases.

The difference between a soldier and a gun is fundamental. Al soldier is sentient, able to make choices, a gun is not, it is just a piece of metal. If you can't see the difference, I can't help YOU. I don't hate the "military", which is not a physical entity, I hate people that initiate violence(against innocent people).

Let me just say as a solider when you are in the shit, you are in it for the guy next to you, not for any politician. To me the photos here show what the US solider is really all about, despite our problems, we are the ones people run to, not away from.
