Wrini ( Sudeshna ) , a journalist by profession is a modern day girl. Wrini, Baishali (Madhurima) and Sutapa (Debarati) are friends. Wrini's classmate Sutapa who belongs to a conservative family got engaged with Arnab(Ritanjan). Arnab is Wrini's ex- fiancée. Once Anab and Wrini were soul mates and they were about to get married to make their relationship eternal .But, it did not ended in that way about what they both have dreamt of due to a silent dowry system . Eventually Sutapa also victimized by this social evil.But a friendly hand of Wrini rescued Sutapa from this worse truth of society which is still remaining...
