i just signed up for dish network last year so i have the latest box with dvr recorder built in.but it has no smart card on it.the old boxes are the ones that had that.

i actually work for dish hotline. and from what i see here sir that there's no way for you to get prog without a smartcard. if your reciever has a built in smart card those models are obsolete and we dont provide prog to those type of recievers. may i just ask whats the model of your reciever

i keep getting the message your smart card does not have authorization to view or order this channel,i dont have a smart card either for my dish box,i tried resetting it and turning it off still nothing works,i tried moving the channel up and down and putting it on channels i always watch and i get a black screen and the same smart card message please help.
