Remember taking half a really strong acid aged about 15, went to bed, got under the covers, headphones on and played this coming up... it was beautiful. I'm 40 now and still trip to Hawkwind. Always will too... I'll have my mates smuggle me some shrooms into the care home. "It's OK love, it's just for his gout...honest!" :)

Next to Levitation, this is my fav song on the record. I really thought HW picked up speed when they pared down members to eventually 3 in the 90's.

That's a hell of a weird sounding Les Paul. IOW not live. Yeah, that's Ginger. Shocking replacement for the great Simon King. Disagree on Levitation. Although it has it's odd charm, it was their first post 70's studio album, and my rule of thumb for HW is that nearly everything they did in the 70's was great, and almost nothing they did since is good. All the same, I've not seen this before, so thanks. BTW part of the last track on this album was used as backing music for a Yamaha motorbike ad.
Aparently they made three of these Levitation promo vids in the same style, but so far this is the only one I've seen .. Thanx
