  • 1195 dollars was like a billion dollars now, right?

  • I just watched a TV Show on PBS about Gameshows! They Had an Interview With Dick Van Dyke and they had a Picture of him on the Price is Right Set! He was the Firat person that NBC wanted to host the show! He turned it down and they hired Bill Culen!

  • Bill Cullen > Bob Barker.

  • And a BMW! He later sold it to Stephen Urkel

  • 60MPG? Psh I have a Nissan Titan that gets like...18...on a good day.

  • That Isetta 300 seems as if it was a precursor to the Smart Car.

  • So why does it take so long to get concept cars on the road when they already existed? :0) Driving that thing must ha e been a hoot but I'll bet there were psychological issues (fears) of the front (with the steering wheel) suddenly opening while driving. IThat & the craze for bigger & heavier & longer doomed this little gem.

  • @thefairlysimple1 I think I would sacrifice some power to get over fifty miles to the gallon. These cars were very unique. Thanks for commenting.

  • @hwy61media i didnt know they made bubble cars in the 50's,well in sydney we didnt see any, lol but they have these little bubble car types everywhere now, i dont have one, but they are cute, but i guess the traffic wasnt as bad as it is now, i couldnt see myself in peak hour traffic in one of them. no way
