  • Russell brand is literally staggering. I can't believe there are some people on various youtube vids who've used the word "talentless" to describe him. What he has is more than talent, I literally can't think of anyone who can match his intellect and quick wit along with the verbal fluency, endless vocabulary and social/communication skills that he possesses. Madness!

  • I have only discovered Russell Brand in the last few days, and can't get enough of the man. I have concluded:

    1) Every interviewer starts out ridiculing him and ends up respecting him

    2) He is the second coming of Christ

    3) If I could become that brilliant after a history of crack/heroin addiction, I would seriously consider taking it.

  • Russell Brand for Prime Minister.

  • @kickchick1974 I arrived at those same conclusions! Amazingly so as to the point of considering him the second coming! Excluding any ambition of a heroin addiction (which contributed less to his genius that say drama or performance lessons), these past weeks in discovering Russel Brand has made me turn towards several "celebrity shows" ,which I would have despicably shunt in the past, in nothing but utter respect for the man.

  • @theindividualizt I can tell you, from firsthand experience, that he loves his fans. Just to let you know :) no animosity.

  • thumbs up if russell brand is brandelious. i want to sit down with him and have a talk, im sure he'd have copious amounts to share which would change the way i see life.

  • Staggering? It's a load of waffle to be honest and using all those long words to appear to be a "genius". Personally, whilst I agree he does have a large vocabulary... I can't help thinking he is on drugs here... (sniffing, licking lips, manic, talks too fast, going off on tangeants, the way he moves combined with the talking b*ll*cks of course - if he were driving and acted like that I think he'd be taken to the station for testing).

  • It's a shame that he's most well known for things like Get Him to the Greek when this is what he's capable of

  • @fred5644 I doubt Russell Brand would have trouble understanding why there are so many who believe him to be "talentless". Yes, he is very talented and has ideals to be admired, but as he himself refers to in this interview, much of his work thus far has failed to display this. The media prefer to use his 'high-burning' persona for trivial, low-brow comedies which fail to do justice to his ability. Also, he (along with many of those I admire most) has an arrogance which could be off-putting.

  • well done Russell Brand for having the vocabulary of an above average university student. wow he's insecure!

  • 3.30. No, but I am a very naughty boy Jeremy.

  • "Where's the part when I am skewed on a pin in the glare of your intellect" Russel.
