That would be me mountain biking at Memorial Park's bike trail in Houston Texas on the 16th of April 2009. The biker who falls down in the video is not me (just for the record); I simply thought it was hilarious.

Kickstands are for girls and babies

the paint is not going to get scratched unless you throw your bike into a tree every time you dismount. just lay is down gently or lean it against a tree. one of the pedals and the tip of the grip only will touch. kickstands are heavy and dangerous, especially on trails. most cycling events would force you to take it off before participating because it's a safety hazard. if that thing deploys while you are riding a trail, it could cause a serious crash, hurting you and others.
