It has not been proved, yet if earthquakes are increasing- Perhaps our ability to detect earthquakes has increased and we have consistently increased the amount of detection over time- Geological time frames are much larger than our time frames- Why would you think that earthquakes today are a sign of the end of the world (prophetically the end) ? Why would Israel have anything to do with earthquakes? Perhaps the "end of days" has been happening for 10,000,000 yrs?

all news organisations are editorially controlled by the governments as to their contents and what is rightly or wrongly reported - the last thing the US government want is for the public to panic over an event. Lies then, might often be the case to uphold national security and public order. There are a lot of dumboz out there dude, hey!!

@lolertep dude, don't be a hater! All friends stuff posts right away. Just send a request. I'm just trying to keep things relatively clean for a mixed audience. You wouldn't believe what some people try to post. You justify fox and call me "dishonest"?? When did I say that non-friends auto post. please troll elsewhere. Thanks for minimizing the situation in Japan though...For some one who loves to bash fox, you're quite an apologist for their balanced reporting.

Do you consider that a rebuttal? You basically just complained about me dissenting and offered nothing to support yourself. There must be a cut off point for what is considered an "aftershock." Now, I know "earthquake" is a strong word, but I think you just don't appreciate the maths behind the Richter scale. There is not a negligible difference between a 5 and a 6. Am I minimizing? No. You are exaggerating.

@lolertep i understand the exponential qualities of the "maths" of the strength of quake ratings. We'll just have to agree do disagree on what is an earthquake and what is an aftershock. In my economy all earthquakes are just that...earthquakes. When a big one is followed by smaller ones, they are aftershocks to the original quake. But they are earthquakes as well. Just not as strong. keep it real- Later
