Dinner and Letters

From my latest film for Chinese TV, 说出你的秘密. In this scene, I'm trying to win back my ex-wife. She doesn't want a bar of me. I tell her I'm finished with my girlfriend. She says that's because my girlfriend is dead (of which I'm in complete denial). At the end, I say "Impossible, only I will make the decisions".

The actress had huge trouble speaking the German lines. Not just these particular lines, all of them. We had long dialogues scripted that had to be pared down to the minimum because she just could not keep up her side of the dialogue.
