I live in South Louisiana, been here all my life for 26 years. Saw 1 last year, it got away. Brother killed 1 yesterday evening at 7:50 pm. 8 rattlers and a button. WHERE DO THESE SNAKES LIKE TO HIBERNATE? I WISH SOMEBODY WOULD COME DOWN HERE AND DO SOME STUDIES. MORE AND MORE ARE BEING SEEN EVERY YEAR HERE, BUT JUST IN A "SMALL" AREA AND I WOULD SURE LIKE TO FIND OUT WHY. IS THERE ANYONE I CAN CONTACT WHO WOULD BE WILLING TO COME DOWN HERE FOR A "RATTLESNAKE ROUNDUP" AND DO SOME RESEARCH??

Nice vid. Just ran into juvenile and had hard time identifying. The young are so different. Good music too... and nice rocks. After seeing this I don't know if I could climb there.

Been to Raven's Rock many times in my youth. Only seen a handful of Timbers there in all the times I was there. Nice video. Long live the Timbers!!!

Was there any science to this what so ever or was it simply you having fun? TRs are extremely sensitive to human disturbance and if you catch and handle them without the utmost tenderness and sensitivity they will move out of that area to a new place in an attempt to get away from humans. If this is done simply because you want to look at and "play with" them, shame on you.

Is this the ravens rocks thats on the wv/va state line?

No offense, but maybe you shouldn't advertise the location of these dens. This place WILL get wiped out eventually if everyone finds out about it.

No dens there and this has been a known area since the late 60s
