After Republican Mike Pence claims that expanding the education benefits veterans receive under the GI bill to restore the promise of a full, four-year college education is a burden "on the backs of our troops," Chairman David Obey of the Appropriations Committee reacts.

  • Support our troops! They sacrifice so that we have Liberty and Freedom

  • I agree - please call, write or email your congressman and tell them you support giving our veterans equivelent GI education benefits given to WW I vets. How can you expect people to fight for us and then not support them.
