I don't really care if you don't personally enjoy rap, but saying that rap is talentless and uses "fake" instruments (the idea that an instrument can be fake is entirely meaningless by the way) is nonsense. Do you call Seamus Heaney talentless because all he has to do is read slowly? Many rappers are incredible at what they do and you shouldn't judge ENTIRE GENRES based on the worst mainstream examples of them.

and this also depends on if you are talking about modern day rap. If so, then the really have nothing in common. Rap nowadays needs no talent just being able to sometimes talk fast. It uses FAKE instruments 90% of the time and drum machines. Jazz is not that.
