I have this computer, But I haven't been able to get it to recognize any Japanese in the writing section x_x

Oh wow, you're right. That's gotta suck.
I don't have that problem on mine, also an HP running Vista.
Never had the problem on my 7 year old PocketPC running Japanese WinCE either.

you see the guy writing and then the lines appear...the pc isn't capable of processing the info comming from the screen as fast as he is writing
