Some clips from the Bugera booth on Sat at Summer NAMM 2008 in Nashville.
Forrest is playing some new songs from the "Bendegos" cd (Forrest Lee Jr, Tim Wallis and Matt Rae, with guests John Bohlinger and Sol Philcox) The Bendegos CD is done! and available at www.OutWestRecords.com

Playing the Paisley, through a Boss CS2 and directly into the 333XL head and 4/12 cabinet. No volume pedals, or other effects whatsoever! Just a Tele, a compressor and an extremely versatile amp! Forrest has a B bender installed, which he makes at www.ForrestCustomGuitars.com

  • such a nice video..keep up the great work!

  • 0:20, this amp literally comes to life !

  • good technique, excellent tone!!

  • Damn good sounding tones-Wish I could afford one!

  • Surely one of the best players in the world.

  • @TwangTown I understand. I was just addressing the fact that a 'bender' of any type is an effect. I'm from the school of thought that there's two types of music. This is good stuff- Nice compression ... Dynacomp?

  • You can definitly see a hipshot... its 5 1/2" x 3" of chrom on top of the guitar...

The real sneaky ones are Joe's but you can still see the trap coming from the neckplate area not the typical stap button area.

  • @vampyros1 Hey there,

This is an old argument I've seen a number of times over the years on TDPRI, All the guitars I make... or at least most, have a bender installed. Crook, Fender both make Bender Tele guitars.

For years I couldnt figure out what that volume knob looking thing was on Jimmy Page's Brown Bomber Tele it's a Parsons White B Bender ... So I see what you are saying.

Anybody that knows me, knows I've been a bender guy since I was a kid. It's an extension of my style now.

  • EMG pickups are great.

  • A vibrato bar is always an effect; the difference being that it's visible, and thus apparent. With a hip shot (or comparable) being obscured typically, it's not something we can readily see, and to, therefore, attribute it to double-stops is a misnomer. Terrific player here-
