The problem here is that he's let you cross face him in the first place. Saulo Ribiero says the biggest mistake most people make is not blocking the cross face before it happens. If you never let anyone cross face you they will never attain a good side control position. Just sayin'.

Good point Kanguesso, a good teach must articulate his message, and do it slowly, and deliberately to allow the viewer or student enough time to download. That is such a nice comment that rings true regarding teaching a technique as if you are writing a childrens book. Awesome point!

WOW, One of the best side control escapes i have ever seen. What makes it one of the best is how well it is taught and how well it is articulated. I love teachers who teach you a technique as he/she were writing a children's book. Not all of us are blessed with the ability to get things right away as if we were all black belts to begin with.
