This song is absolutely NOT about Bill Haley. I can spell, for one thing, & if it had been about Bill Haley, it would've been called "Haley's Comet", not "Halley's Comet". I wrote the song, so I know what it's about & what it's not about. They do still get the chords wrong, though.
