I've never even told my parents parts of this story, but I felt it had to be said. I don't like reliving that period in time, but it is a very important aspect to who I am. You see, the joker had it wrong: what ever doesn't kill you, simply makes you STRONGER. I wouldn't be the person I am today without going through what I went through, or having the family that I have; and so it is for that reason that if I were offered the choice between being gay and being straight tomorrow, I would choose to remain gay.

You will often hear a religious person say "hate the sin, but not the sinner." However, in a situation where the sin within the sinner is unchangeable, that makes the sin and the sinner one in the same. And so, if you hate the sin, you hate the sinner too. And hate is very unchristian.

  • To all you immature haters: If you don't approve, stay off pages like these. There is no reason to make people feel bad about themselves by posting rude comments. I feel sorry for you because look what kind of person ur being. Who cares if it is a choice or if it isnt? Because at the end of the day, God made us and he is the only one who can judge us, and he won't. Thank you for being brave and posting this video. I completely support you! And honestly, who cares about lables in the first place?

  • @isarasaurus Gay is like hair color?

ROFLMAO. I don't recall gay being inherited in DNA.

  • @MegaSlaze There's no way you're being serious. You have to be trolling. Religion has tainted the views on gays. Fuck your logic.

  • That just made me tear up. (': I can't say I understand what you went through, I'm not you. I can say that I somewhat relate.

  • Being gay is not a choice. Trust me on this.

  • Being gay is like your hair color.

You are born with it, so you will always have it. You can dye it as many colors as you wish, but it will always grow back the same. There's nothing you can do to change what grows back.

  • @celtusguy No, heterosexuals found tendencies in the opposite gender to be attractive, that's what makes them heterosexuals. They found homosexuality unattractive, which makes them heterosexual. Homosexuality is a choice, once you perform activities of such. You don't like an apple until you taste one, if you like it, you will continue to eat it, if you don't, you stop eating it. That "born this way" attitude is so laughable, so don't compare it to race, height, or anything of DNA.

  • LOVE THIS VIDEO ...AND @sensiblehuman...watch onision and god video..and PS not all of us believe ina god..God isn't the reason..its ur feelings and self.and for some lie myself its love.I didn't choose to fall in love with a girl it just happened ..my feelings took over.

  • @Alicia1234515 God did not make you gay no more than God made others commit other types of vices. Quit lying on God!

  • The title of this video, 'Is Being Gay a Choice?' is irrelevant. The question should be "Is voluntarily inserting a phallus in the rectum of a male a choice?" Or, "Is voluntarily placing a phallus in the oropharynx of a male a choice?" Notice, the question initiallty posed relates to biophysiology, not Constitutional protection, or who's business it is, or what does it have to do with your relationship? Let's stay on topic. What evolutionary forces or specious physiologic forces are at work?
