Some people may not confess how humiliating it feels to have an attack and have others laugh at you as if you were a part of a circus act. In fact this can lead to low self esteem and other psychological problems…

My Dad, brother, and two of my daughters have Cataplexy all in deferent degrees. I’ve had it severely through my life and it is no joke or pass time matter, even though many people may think so. I wish that it would not be so under rated in its seriousness. And if you know someone with Cataplexy please don’t be disrespectful and make a joke out of it.

I am so disappointed/upset in the way that cataplexy is being display, even narcolepsy is not being display with the seriousness that it should.
I have recently been diagnosed (second opinion) with Cataplexy, which drew me to find out more about it. And after seeing the videos out regarding the disease it is crushing my heart and spirit about how under rated the seriousness is.
I have been having Cataplexy attracts since I was born.

I'm refraining from liking/disliking this video - there is a lot of very good information in here but between the tone and sound issues the delivery isn't completely effective. Glad to see something out there that isn't perpetuating the common stigmas or complete misinformation that is so prevalent in the media :)
