The Viper is the hands down champ for performance and raw race car experience but the Vette has the market cornered between the two in terms of practicality, every day driveability, fuel economy and ride comfort. The ACR is a monster at the track but the ZR1 offers the best compromise in terms of performance and comfort/driveability. Either way, both cars are among the very best in the world right now and both deserve respect.

Le Mans races are regulated by power and weight restrictions, and the Vipers had a 100 kg penalty added to their cars, because they raped their class if I remember correctly. Try again. You're fucking stupid and need to research before opening your mouth. The ZR1 is supposedly race tuned, also.

Do some research before you spout off. The ACR IS a production vehicle that you can order at any dodge dealer just like the ZR1. As a matter of fact, Dodge is offering 0% financing on new ACR's. Do you think they would offer financing on a non-production car?. ZR1 is an awesome car but on a road course the Viper ACR is a step above. The the lap time was set by a driver who had never driven the car before. Imagine the lap time if Dodge would have spent the time at the track that Chevy did.

Race tuned car vs factory production car. Hmmmm.. This is like comparing a C5-R Corvette (which owned the Vipers in le mans races over and over) vs a production viper right out of the factory. Of course the Viper is going to win. Tune up that vette with $50,000 more like the Viper.. Viper is done

sad part about this is if the ZR1 had of won..the vette fan boys would of said "the Vipers race tuned and still lost against a stock ZR1 " but when it wins like it should people start adding on there own attachements "if the vette had a wing" (but it didnt) so fly ur ass over there and put a wing on it next time or STFU period

They should of compared the srt 10 viper against the zr1 vette. comparing a race tuned car against a road car isnt a good comparison. Chevy will make a race version of the zr1 and Im for sure it will kill he acr viper. To bad they wont be able to compare them tho cuz dodge is finally pulling the plug on the over rated viper
