just like a fine wine needs to age in a dark cellar with all the humidity etc to become a vintage wine so did mickey. Those 11 yrs away from acting make him legendary and withmickey there is no compromise pf truth over reputation. Legends are not fake..and "comeback can be the wrong expression to describe mickey. I love you amigo..very heart felt

all the wrestlers in the movie are actual wrestlers, the rings and all those things are REAL rings with real fans and real wrestlers. The reason was because of budget constraints.

wow, I didn't even like the 'old' Mickey Rourke that much. But seeing this movie and listening to him talking about his life. He really has the Oscar coming too! I so want him to have it. Because this movie matches his life somehow. And he plays this role to perfection.

I stumbled upon this and I am glad I did. Thanks for posting. I have yet to see the movie yet after Mickeys interviews I will try to. He repeats what he has said before but maybe because he was tired it seemed more honest. Very touching. I bet he has a few lessons I could we could learn. I love how Loki stood on the table? He seemed to look at the interviewer like Are you done? Mickey needs to walk me. Weird Loki was not petted. Did Mickey say dont touch? Or was Loki trained not to go strangers

I was never a big fan of Mickey until I saw The Wrestler......
